Here at Split Rock Weimaraners we are striving to breed for Excellence in Conformation, Temperament, Heath, and Hunting Ability the complete versatile dog. In 2013 I finally decided to try my hand in the world of dog showing after 20 plus years in showing horses I figured it would be an easy transition boy was I wrong. There was a lot to learn and thick skin to grow I had to do a lot of soul searching if I wanted to continue and I'm am glad to say that it was worth it. On August 30, 2014 I have my first Conformation Champion she was professionally handled by Daniel Martin. Now with a little more that year and half in showing I know what I'm am looking for in the breed and I'm going to do everything that I possibly can to change and get better shoulders which has been an issue with the breed for years. I'm a member of the Weimaraner Club of America, Tarheel Weimaraner Club, Piedmont Kennel Club, and Winston Salem Dog Training Club where I served on the board as a member at large for a year I also teach Beginner II at WSDTC.
Update on July 30, 2017 Jayden is now GCHB Split Rock's Silver Rockstar. All Split Rock Weimaraners will be professionally handled by Pepe Anastas.
Another update Jayden is now BISS GCHS Split Rock's Silver Rockstart she also finished #10 in 2018 I am so proud of her and all her accomplishments
